Dr Brian Vaughan
Open Labs by TU Dublin Hothouse
Dr Brian Vaughan is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Digital Media at TU Dublin, and lectures in a range of subjects at undergrad and masters level. He has experience in research commercialisation, having previously founded a start-up based on his novel patented speech analysis technology. He is also the director of the Virtual Interation Research Lab (VIRaL) at TU Dublin, a cutting-edge research lab that focuses on applied, snd commercial research projects in AR, VR, and MR.
As director of VIRaL, Brian oversees a number of projects in areas such as language learning, narrative and catharsis, training and simulation, cultural heritage, story telling, and meditation.
