Dafydd Hall Williams
Artistic Director of Ulster Touring Opera, Dafydd Hall Williams trained at the Oxford School of Drama before attaining a BA and MA at Aberystwyth University. Prior to founding Belfast based cross-border company Ulster Touring Opera, Dafydd worked with opera companies across the UK and Ireland such as Wexford Festival Opera, Welsh National Opera, English Touring Opera, Northern Ireland Opera, Buxton Festival and Mid-Wales Opera. Dafydd is the project lead on the Augmented Reality Opera project, which explores the potential for volumetric capture to bring opera to life in new and unique ways. Dafydd has been a visiting director at with the Vocal Studies Department at Guildhall School of Drama since 2015.
