Jessica Wright heads up the team at Peel X who produce XR solutions including Augmented Reality apps and Virtual Reality experiences for clients across the Heritage, Museum, Leisure and Tourism sectors. She has developed a vast array of engaging, interactive digital storytelling solutions and several of the projects Peel X have delivered have won awards- most recently for digital innovation, public presentation and best told story from a range of institutions. Peel X was also recently named ‘one of the UKs immersive studios to watch’ by Digital Catapult, following an invitation to take part in an accelerator programme with the company alongside Niantic. In January 2023, their new Augmented Reality app for Dublin ‘Dublin Discovery Trails’ launched with its first of many interactive walking trails ‘Doors into Docklands’- the flagship project is part of the wider Dublin City Council and Fáilte Ireland Smart Tourism Programme which recently won Best Digital & Innovation Award at the Global Tourism Innovations Awards 2022.
