ARVR Innovate is constantly looking for more ways we can engage our conference attendees. We are always striving to bring them the most interesting experiences we can, stimulating their excitement about all things augmented and virtual reality.
This year we wanted to take that even further, which is why we are delighted to announce that we will be providing a special ‘Fun Zone’ at ARVR Innovate 2018. The ‘Fun Zone’ will include entertaining VR gaming experiences, which attendees will be able to try out all as part of the conference package.
This special zone is being brought to the conference in conjunction with Future Shock, the VR entertainment hub located in Smithfield, Dublin. Future Shock offer a wide range of VR experiences which can be tailored to individuals, groups and corporate teams.
This video gives you some idea of their services and you can read more about their services by clicking here.
The ‘Fun Zone’ will include two specific adventures this year.
Space Pirate Trainer, is what you would get if you took one of those classic arcade games and made it truly immersive. Fight off relentless waves of droids with all the weapons a Space Pirate could ever want.
Just make sure you avoid those incoming lasers, particularly if you want to get a high score! In fact whoever gets the highest score on the day will win a special ‘Fun Zone’ prize. And don’t worry, we promise no droids will be harmed during this experience.
Our second offering is Richie’s Plank. You’d be forgiven for thinking we were sticking with the pirate theme here, but this is a virtual plank with a difference. You’ll take an elevator to the 80th Floor of a city skyscraper and then you’ll be asked to walk along the plank until the end.
This short experience always brings big reactions – exhilaration, fun and laughter all round. What better way to face your fear of heights than to take it on from ground level.
We’re really excited about the ‘Fun Zone’ at this year’s conference and we can’t wait to try out these experiences.
All available as part of the ARVR Innovate 2018 experience.
